What the Flock?
Row for Community
Row for Community (formerly Row for Humanity) is IC Habitat's biggest fundraiser of the year. We partner with the Ithaca College Crew Team to send out mailers to friends, family, faculty and community members, who sponsor Habitat for Humanity monetarily. Then, to raise awareness about the cause and make good on the pledge donations, Habitat members row on "ergs," or workout rowing machines, alongside Crew members. FIND OUT MORE about Row for Community on THIS page.

HabiDash!
Our biggest fundraiser of the fall, HabiDash was an excellent way for Habitat to raise some money and have some fun. Over thirty runners (or walkers!) participated in the event this year, held on a Sunday on the Butterfield Stadium at Ithaca College. With perfect weather, WICB jamming with awesome music, and enthusiastic participants, we couldn't have asked for a more successful event.

Sleep-Out for Homelessness
After a full line-up of incredible speakers sharing their personal experiences with homelessness or time advocating for affordable housing, nearly 30 Habitat members slept outside on the Academic Quad in cardboard boxes, simulating the homeless experience and gaining an appreciation of the unglamorous side of sleeping under the stars.
