Sleep-Out for Homelessness!
How Many People Are You Sleeping With Tonight?
Don't sleep alone tonight. Join Ithaca College Habitat for Humanity for our annual Sleep-Out on Thursday, October 7! Beginning at 7:30pm, we'll be gathered on the Academic Quad, outside of the Library, to listen to speakers about homelessness and affordable housing advocacy, build our own cardboard box structures to sleep in, share some hot cocoa, get to know each other, and spend the night outside! This is sure to be an inspiring, uplifting, and revelatory night, so make sure you stop by for at least a portion of the night! Don't miss our biggest advocacy event of the season. Direct any questions to Adam Polaski, Education & Advocacy Chair, at [email protected].

Speakers will continue throughout the night, including Dr. Fred Wilcox of Ithaca College, Jason Wilson and Lisa Hoyte, local Ithaca community members, Daniela Hess Scholl, and our IC Habitat advisor, Jenny Pickett, who will speak about her work as a lifelong advocate.
Official programming ends, but the fun and education will continue well into the night. Get excited!
